WCC prioritizes promoting social safeguards and protection, with dedicated attention to preventing and responding to gender-based violence against women and children.
Detailed scope
Protection programming ensures that women and children affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty receive safe, confidential, and survivor-centered support.
WCC implements community awareness, case management, referral pathways, and psychosocial support in coordination with health, legal, and protection partners.
Child protection and GBV risk mitigation are integrated across all WCC sectors so services do not expose beneficiaries to further harm.
